Friday night was the opening of a homecoming football game. This game was located at Conger Field with new turf, and new buildings that were added. That night on September 20, 2019/7pm all the people in the community were ready to rumble against the Lexington Bulldogs. There are some reason why homecoming games are important, because they are a time to celebrate shared experiences when alumni from high schools or colleges as they return to there Alma Mater. During the first quarter nobody scored until the Bulldogs scored a touchdown to bring the score 7-0. Thunderstorms were rolling in from Pauls Valley, which canceled the game for a solid 20 minutes, the game had returned during the 3rd quarter. It was the ending of the 4th quarter when the Purcell Dragons took the loss against the Lexington Bulldogs
