Sixty-one Purcell High School students attend the math and history concurrent classes every Monday and Wednesday to earn college hours.

Purcell High School gives the students an opportunity to get college hours before you go to college. You can take either a college algebra class or a history class on Mondays and Wednesdays at the Superintendent’s office. Gavin Nation said “My first college class is very exciting, it feels good to be getting college credit for a class I am taking in High School.” Brendan Farris stated “ It is a very good option because it is free and saves a lot of money.”

With concurrent being free, besides the books, you get college hours without spending a lot of money and it is a very good opportunity for any student that would want to get college hours.
